''Life is a celebration, but you've got to decorate it'', is one of the most used phrases of Stol. And she lived it. It was seen in:

-The way she dressed: Always in bright, feminine colours like red, fuxia, pink and purple, astonishing and unique fashion combinations and big Chanel sunglasses. Stol adored fashion and thought that all women should express their beauty, that they should take care of and treat theirselves. She was all about the celebration of empowered women.

-The way she made an art work out of her studio. Exposing unique african & Mexican masks, tropical flowers, pink feathers and a red leather sofa. The walls were full of her colourful artworks and her studio represented her flamboyance. It made her wake up happily and ready to face the day with passion.

-The music that she listened to and danced with. All music that had passion in it made her feel deeply and made her experience life to the fullest. Tango dance was her passion, and she felt the fire in her body when listening to flamenco. She loved to dance through life with a smile to everyone that crossed her path.

-Even her funeral was a celebration of her life. Numerous of her loved ones, artists of all kinds, and lifelong friends were there dressed in red, drinking champaigne and a red cake. Carribean salsa, tango and sentimental Italian music were filling the atmosphere, and everyone was dancing. Celebrating and honouring the life of Eleonora Stol, La Roja.

The fire of her daily inspiration was translated in her expressive and passionate art. She made it to stimulate the fire in people. To stimulate in people the courage to express themselves in all colours and to celebrate life each day. So her work carries the meaning of celebration.
